A private label blanket program is a manufacturing arrangement where the buyer sells blankets under their own brand name. The manufacturer — in this case, Fashion Hometex — produces the blankets using its existing product range and applies the buyer's label, hangtag, and packaging before shipment. The buyer does not need to develop new product specifications from scratch, making private label faster to market than full OEM manufacturing.
OEM manufacturing means the buyer develops and owns the full product specification. Private label uses the manufacturer's existing product designs with the buyer's branding applied. Private label typically has shorter lead times and lower development cost; OEM offers more product differentiation. Fashion Hometex offers both programs.
